SUPERBOWL 2010

Yesterday, I watched the Superbowl with three of my best girlfriends, on an amazing HD flat screen that would put any sports bar tv to shame. The four of us drank lemon drops and snacked on "healthy" food. Four girls watching football. I was very excited for the Saints to win the big game. I feel they brought hope to the Big Easy that has been lost for four years now. Although, I love the greatness of Peyton Manning, I was glad that the underdog was able to charge forward. For the record, I thought Carrie Underwood did an amazing job honoring out country, and her outfit was phenomenal! I especially loved her white platform heels!

Watching football with all females brings a certain different element that cannot be captured when macho, sports-watching males are present. This difference was noticed when the commercials were on. It was extremely obvious who the demographic was. The entire first half consisted of Bud Light and Doritos ads. The best ad of the night had to go to Google. Google remembered that females do watch sports, and created an ad that had the four of us transfixed on the screen. Thanks google for not creating an ad with a beer house or old me with no pants on!
